Apprentices into Health: Drive the digital transformation of the NHS

What is Apprentices into Health?

Simply put, Apprentices into Health is an initiative commissioned by Health Education England to expand the digital workforce within the NHS through entry-level apprenticeships.

The NHS has been helping people for over 70 years and has had to adapt over time as the world has evolved. With the digital boom created by the pandemic, the NHS is transforming once again as digital technologies and communications enhance the services it provides. To ensure the NHS can support and continue to develop digital services, it needs new recruits who are passionate about data, digital and technology. That’s where Apprentices into Health comes in.

The NHS Digital Apprenticeship Pilot offers employers a range of entry level, digital apprenticeships to meet the varied demands across health and social care, along with the support they need to implement them.
