Northeastern University London Receives ‘Good’ Ofsted Rating
We are delighted to announce that Northeastern University London received a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted after a recent inspection.
Between the 19th – 22nd September 2023, Ofsted inspected our Skills Bootcamps and apprenticeship programmes. The inspection recognised our ‘vision to diversify the workforce within the information technology (IT) sector’ as well as identifying that learners on all our programmes receive a great level of support from tutors and staff.
The University was graded against the following categories and received a scoring of ‘Good’ in all areas:
- Overall effectiveness
- The quality of education
- Behaviour and attitudes
- Personal development
- Leadership and management
- Adult learning programmes
- Apprenticeships

What is a ‘Good’ rating?
There are four grades that can be awarded by Ofsted: Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement and Inadequate. A rating of ‘Good’ classifies the University as a reliable choice for providing a good education to its apprentices and adult-learners on Skills Bootcamps.
