This is an important part of our support for a diverse and inclusive experience for all members of our organisation across teaching, research and all of our University processes, procedures and life.
DEI Training for Staff
Introduction to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion: e-Learning course by Advance HE
This mandatory course for all staff working for the University in any capacity provides participants with the fundamental basis for understanding issues around equality, diversity and inclusion within higher education and encourages behaviours that build inclusive cultures at the individual and institutional levels. It provides all staff members with basic training on the Equality Act (2010), discrimination in a higher education setting and basic intervention training. Staff will be required to complete this training annually as part of their mandatory training through the Astute platform.

Supporting an inclusive experience in higher-education: e-learning course by Advance HE
This mandatory course for all students attending Northeastern University London aims to provide students with the fundamental basis for understanding issues around equality, diversity and inclusion within higher education and to equip students with practical tools to challenge discriminatory behaviour and to interact with other students in an inclusive and supportive way.
