Terms of Reference – Work Related Learning Programmes Committee

Context

The Work Related Learning Programmes Committee (WRLPC) is responsible for the overseeing and review of work related learning programmes. The WRLPC works to support the direction and priorities set by WRLMB and is accountable for the quality of teaching and learning and taking action to address risks and share successful practice. It will also review data trends on the programme and observe and respond to learner and employer feedback, with the aim of continually improving and developing best practice.

Members must be sensitive to any information which may be confidential and must adhere at all times to University policy regarding sharing confidential information, data and General Data Protection Regulations.

Terms of Reference

  1. To review the individual and collective progress made towards the programme objectives, to consider data trends on the programme and to consider feedback from employers and apprentices.
  2. To review individual learner information, progress and satisfaction.
  3. To review Course, Programme, Staffing, Operations, Finance, and Business Development in order to identify risk, share good practice and enhance the quality of the Programme.
  4. To provide and review information, data and progress against KPIs.
  5. To escalate risks and issues to the Work Related Learning Management Board (WRLMB) and produce a risk matrix and action plan for the programme.

Frequency

The WRLPC meets quarterly.

Quorum

Meetings are quorate when the Chair (or Deputy Chair) and 50% of the membership are present.
