Future-proof your career
Invest in your future self through one of our renowned master’s programmes. Throughout the admissions process, we’re here to support you as you continue your journey to learn, upskill, and grow.
The admissions process
Step 1 | Start an online application
Postgraduate applications should be made directly through our online application form. We accept applications on a rolling basis. You’ll need to write a personal statement, up to 4,000 characters, that covers the following areas:
- Why do you want to study your chosen course?
- What are your interests and how do they relate to your subject area (you might want to mention books you have read or ideas you would especially like to explore)?
- Why is Northeastern University London the right place for you to study?
- What are your future plans and career aspirations?
Step 2 | Your reference
Your referee should be someone who has taught or worked closely with you in an academic or professional context within the past two years.
Step 3 | Your interview
We sometimes select applicants for interview. This is an opportunity for you to meet an academic from your subject area in a one-to-one setting similar to a dissertation supervision meeting, in order to assess your candidacy.
Step 4 | Your offer
Within a few weeks of your application, we will let you know whether we will make you an offer. Your formal offer pack will follow.
