Standard offer

The below are indicative of our standard offers for popular high school-level qualifications.

A-level

Please note that A-level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by Northeastern University London as one of your A-levels.

Students studying the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) alongside three A Levels may be eligible for an alternative offer.

International Baccalaureate Diploma

An overall score of 35 points OR 6, 6, 5 in subjects taken at Higher Level.
Please note, the overall score of 35 points includes TOK and the Extended Essay, and students must achieve a pass in the IB Diploma for entry to our courses.

European Baccalaureate

85%.

Scottish Higher

AABBB. We do not count Highers and Advanced Highers in the same subject.

Scottish Advanced Higher

AB. We do not count Highers and Advanced Highers in the same subject.

Access to HE Diploma

45 Level 3 credits at Distinction: 33 credits. Merit: 12 credits. Pass: 0 credits.

The Access to HE Diploma will be considered on a case by case basis – please contact us for further guidance.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma

BTEC Extended Diploma, Diploma and Subsidiary Diploma are considered on a case by case basis when offered in combination with required A-level – contact us for further guidance.

English language requirements

If English is not your native language, you will need to demonstrate proficiency in English in order to study at the University. We would normally require an IELTS of 6.5 overall (including 6.0 in all four components) or an equivalent qualification. For a list of equivalencies, please check here
