About Anton Dinev
Anton Dinev joined NU London in January 2023 as a part-time Lecturer in EU and Competition Law (from Vrije Universiteit Brussel), after working as a Counsel at the Brussels office of a large law firm. He has now moved to a full-time appointment as Assistant Professor of EU and Competition Law, with secondary teaching responsibilities in Contracts, Company Law, and LLB Dissertation. Additionally, he teaches Trademark Law, International Business Law, and Data Protection and Management as Adjunct Professor of Law at IESEG School of Management (Paris/Lille).
Anton Dinev's Research
Anton Dinev has served as an International Competition Network (ICN) non-governmental advisor (NGA) for the European Commission (DG COMP) since July 2019. He is also a member of the editorial boards of World Competition (Wolters Kluwer) and the Journal of Antitrust Enforcement (OUP). Most recently, he co-edited a themed issue on the new VBER for the European Competition Law Review (ECLR).
Other research projects and forthcoming publications include a co-authored chapter in Barry Rodger and Or Brook (eds.), Mapping Judicial Review of National Competition Authorities Competition Law Decisions (https://www.mappingcomplawreview.com) and a national report in Bert Keirsbilck, Evelyne Terryn, Elisa Paredis, and Tom Verdonk (eds.), Third UTP Roundtable: Implementation of Directive (EU) 2019/633 concerning unfair trading practices in business-to-business relationships in the agricultural and food supply chain (“UTP’s”) in the EU-27.
