As part of Northeastern University (Northeastern)’s global network, Northeastern University London has a global outlook and enjoys wide-ranging support from a highly ranked US teaching and research institution, while retaining its academic independence as a UK higher education institution. Furthermore, with its campuses in Boston, Charlotte, Miami, Seattle, Silicon Valley, Toronto and Vancouver, Northeastern’s network opens up enormous opportunities for Northeastern University London students and graduates, including the possibility of studying in the USA.

Double Husky Scholarships

Northeastern University London graduates achieving a first class or upper second class undergraduate degree may receive preferred admission to graduate programmes at Northeastern. In addition, all Northeastern University London graduates accepted onto one of 100 eligible degree programmes at Northeastern are eligible for a 25 percent tuition fee discount through the Double Husky Scholarship.

Mapping Black London in World War II

Dr Olly Ayers, Senior Lecturer in History at Northeastern University London, is currently working on a project using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) techniques to chart black activities in wartime London, offering new visual methods of examining the historical connections between the histories of anti-imperial protest, US civil rights and British racial politics. This project is funded by a $10,000 grant from a joint initiative with Northeastern University.

Brexit Symposium

This half-day event, held at Northeastern University London in Hilary Term 2019, on the topic of ‘Understanding Brexit’, was a joint venture of Northeastern University London Politics & IR faculty and Northeastern Political Science faculty members.

N.U.in

The N.U.in programme gives Northeastern students the opportunity to add an international edge to their studies with a semester abroad. The N.U.in Programme is very different from a traditional study abroad experience—engaging students immediately in the experiential learning model they will follow throughout their years at Northeastern.

Global Engagement Programme

The Global Engagement Programme (GEP) allows Northeastern students to spend a year at Northeastern University London, teaching you the business skills necessary for a rewarding career as well as an appreciation of the human experience. GEP teaches students to view employees, suppliers, and shareholders not just as business associates, but people with personal, philosophical, and psychological needs, allowing students to foster the important habit of looking at business decisions in creative ways.
