- Money advice and budgeting
- Support for independent, care-experienced and estranged students
- Navigating the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) and advice and support to offer holders wanting to apply for DSA
- Provide help and advice to students experiencing a wellbeing issue
- Help for students with short-term physical issues, eg. broken arm
- Advice and guidance on mental health issues to help students:
- Develop strategies to manage mental health
- Navigate NHS services
- Refer to external therapeutic support and specialist services
- Learning Support Plans for students with specific learning difficulties, disabilities, neurological differences or mental health difficulties.
If you have a disability, specific learning difficulty such as dyslexia or dyspraxia, a neurological difference such as Aspergers or a mental health difficulty, we strongly encourage you to contact Student Support & Development before you start at Northeastern University London so that the team can set you up for success from your very first day at the University. If you have experience of care, are estranged or an independent student, Student Support can offer you a touch-point for advice, guidance and help on life as a student or personal matters so that you always have someone to talk to. You can contact them at studentsupport@nulondon.ac.uk.
