Grow your talent and elevate your team
Employing apprentices allow you to train or reskill employees in high-demand capabilities, and strengthen your talent pipeline.
How apprenticeships
work
A degree apprenticeship is a partnership between Northeastern University London and your organisation. You’ll have maximum flexibility, with multiple start dates and multiple cohorts available each year. You can also choose between the full apprenticeship programmes or short course options.
The employer’s role
- As the employer, you’ll match your apprentices with experienced staff who’ll help them to learn relevant skills.
- You can either hire new employees, or enrol and upskill your existing staff.
- You’ll support your apprentice with on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring.
- We can help provide your apprentice with extra training before their programme begins, to get them up to speed.
Our apprentices
- Apprentices typically spend four days a week working on the job, and a fifth on their classroom learning, either in-person or online.
- Our tailored educational programmes equip apprentices with theoretical and practical knowledge that they can apply to their work at your organisation.

Funding for
apprenticeships
Funding details are determined before the start of each apprentice’s programme. Your organisation can get help from the government to pay for apprenticeship training and assessment.
