Information for Employers: Digital Skills Bootcamp in Service Design & Management

NU London’s Skills Bootcamp offers employers a flexible, cost-effective way to upskill staff in ServiceNow and help them gain valuable digital skills. As part of the government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee and Plan for Jobs, employers can access training at a reduced rate, needing to pay just a 10% or 30% contribution – depending on their size.

The course is designed in partnership with ServiceNow to support customers and partners with building their ServiceNow workforce capability. As part of the programme employers are expected to support their employees, including freeing up time for study where necessary and being prepared to help them progress in the work-place and access new opportunities as a result of their training.

Employers can also access a fantastic, job-ready talent pool via the Skills Bootcamp route. NU London regularly hosts careers events and hiring days for recent Skills Bootcamp graduates who are looking for their next role. You can find out more about our virtual hiring events here. If you are interested in delivering a careers talk to inspire the next generation of digital talent you can sign-up here.

Unique ServiceNow Partnership

The University’s Bootcamp is unique in that it is delivered in partnership with ServiceNow, a major cloud platform ranked the number one place to work in the UK on Glassdoor. In focusing on technology service design and management, the course is well-aligned to developing a career in ServiceNow as a technology consultant, business or data analyst, project manager or developer.

The programme is designed to prepare learners to achieve Certified System Administrator status (with examination and certification included for those who are ready and wishing to complete this) and covers elements of ServiceNow from ITSM to advances in automation.

ServiceNow and NU London also partner on degree apprenticeship delivery, so there is a clear onward training pathway for any employees supported to complete the Skills Bootcamp. More information on our apprenticeship pathways is available here.
