Academic Support
Starting a new degree involves learning a lot more than the content of your programme. It requires learning to research and write like an academic, to structure your time in a way that allows you to excel in your studies, and to select the right courses for your self-development and future plans.
Whatever the issue you’re facing, we’re here to support you at all stages of your academic journey, to help you select the courses that are right for you, and to advise on a range of topics including:
- adapting to academic life in London
- English and mathematics tutoring
- interpreting university policy
- organisation and time management
- study skills, including note-taking, revision and research techniques
Each student has a designated academic adviser to provide the guidance and support you need throughout your studies.
We run a series of workshops throughout the year on topics such as study skills, motivation and public speaking to provide additional learning opportunities to support your development.
