Information for Applicants: Digital Skills Bootcamp in Service Design & Management
The Skills Bootcamp is a fully-funded, 12-week programme, with a guaranteed job interview upon successful completion. Applications for our January cohort are now closed. During the Skills Bootcamp, you will study information systems at university level and complete industry-recognised training in ServiceNow, with opportunities to gain high-value certifications. Find out more about the curriculum here.
Industry Partnership
NU London’s Skills Bootcamp is delivered in partnership with ServiceNow, a major cloud platform provider ranked the number one place to work in the UK on Glassdoor. ServiceNow clients and partners include government agencies, prominent consultancies and major brands. In focusing on technology service design and management, the course provides an excellent basis for a career with Servicenow or one of their customers or partners in a role such as technology consultant, business or data analyst, project manager or developer.
Overview
Start Dates: 10 June (now full) and 9 September 2024 (now full), 6 January 2025 (applications now closed)
Duration: 12 weeks
Delivery:
- Week 1: Full-time, online. These are live teaching events and are mandatory to attend.
- Weeks 2-12: Flexible online for 10-14 hours a week, with some 3-4 hours of live teaching sessions, which we encourage you to join at their scheduled time where possible, with recordings available if you cannot attend.
- Workshops: 4 x in-person workshops, typically on a Friday, at our central London campus
Careers: The Skills Bootcamp is aligned to a range of apprenticeships and career paths, providing excellent opportunities for continued study, training and employment.
Related apprenticeships include: Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Scientist and Digital and Technology Solutions Professional.
Additional career pathways include: IT Consultant, IT Project Manager, ServiceNow Practitioner, Informatics and Database Specialist, ServiceNow Developer, System Administrator.

- Opportunities to gain industry-recognised certification in ServiceNow (subject to passing relevant exams/assessment).
- Upon successful completion, a guaranteed, real job interview with a sector-relevant employer.
Next Steps and How to Apply
- Attend an information session, to find out more about the programme, ask questions and check it is right for you.
- Complete the Skills Bootcamp application form – think clearly about your reasons for applying and what you are hoping to get out of the programme.
- Make sure “bootcamps@nulondon.ac.uk” is on your safe sender list and keep an eye out for an email or phone call from us.
- If you meet the eligibility requirements and have demonstrated you are a good fit for the programme you may be invited to an interview or to onboard directly.
- Complete any onboarding documentation shared with you as soon as possible, to make sure you can onboard in time for the programme start.
- Once the onboarding form has been completed, you will be invited to an onboarding session.
